In May was Relay for Life. This year was our first year getting a team together. And it was so much fun! Its definately something we will do every ear. Our team was pretty much my Family. Amy & Kent and Julie came down, so we had the whole family participate. There was music and food and games etc. it started at 6pm on friday and ended Saturday morning at 7.
What happens is you walk the track all night long. there needs to be at least one person from your team walking at all times. So we decided to do it by couples and we each took our turn walking for a cure for cancer. My kids were troopers! Hailey lasted till about 11 and then she went to the trailer and slept. Austin and aubrey stayed up till about 4 in the morning walking and participating in the different things going on. They had alot of fun! I think only me and julie and emily stayed up the whole night. It was definately a good time. Can't wait till next year!
