In January Austin had his scout Pinewood Derby. He loves this part of scouts! He and Matt made his car a "Skatebord". It turned out pretty cool! it looked great, plus it was actually pretty fast. His car placed 1st in his wolf group and 3rd over all. So he qualified for districts and was happy that his car won a few races.
His car din't do as well at districts, but it was fun to be there and exiting to see him race with all the other scouts in his district.
