First Day of School

Austin 1st Grade: Ms. Moore Aubrey Kindergarten: Mrs. Griffin I snuck a picture right before I left! So today was the first day of school!!! HOORAY!!!. My kids have been so exited for school to start. Austin has been counting down for a week now! I can't believe I have two in school now. I'm getting old! It's just going to be me and Hailey. I'm exited for that! Last night the kids got their Fathers Blessings and it reminded me of when my dad gave us ours before evey school year. I don't think he ever missed a year. it's neat to see Matt giving our kids theres now. Austin could not go to sleep. Usually after 5min. in bed, he's out!, but it took him almost an hour to fall asleep. He came downstairs and said "AAAHHHH, I can't fall asleep, I really want to, but I just can't!" Then he was the first one up bright and early! They both had a good first day! Austin said "It was the best first day ever!!" and proceeded to tell me what he did all day. He is so animated and exited when he talks. He loves to tell us everything in detail! Aubrey, on the other hand, is hard to get anything out of her! I asked her how her day was and all she said was "Good" and then throughout the evening she would tell us bits and pieces. But it's like pulling teeth to get anything out of her. But I know she had fun! She loves to learn and socialize! And it was such a nice day for Matt and I. Matt has wednesdays off, so we took the kids to school together, went to my doctors apt. and just did whatever we wanted with only Hailey, Who is super easy and will do whatever withought much fuss. I think she liked the idea of just her with Mommy and Daddy. Later that evening we had the Warrens over for Dinner and just had a good time. Today was a really Happy Day! Don't you just love those! Happy first Day of school!!!
