Happy 7th Aniversary to us!!! at the begining of last week we were deciding on what we were going to do for our aniversary. We thought about going to mesa or Tucson but it just didn't sound to appealing. Then matt looked up how much plane tickets would be to Philadelphia and we got a REALLY good deal for flight and hotel so we booked it!! We are crazy! Matt just said we could repay our savings later. this is something we really both needed. poor matt works 7 days a week 12-14 hour days so this trip was much needed! Matt served his mission in Philly and he has wanted to take me there for a while so we went!! It was a short trip but very fun!! Our Hotel was amazing! It was right in the middle of Center City! We could even get to the mall from our hotle and not have to step outside! We paid for a Trolly tour of Philly wich was a get off and on as you please and you knew every 20 min another trolly or Double decker bus would be back! The double decker bus was the best. It took you to all the major tourist stops. Our hotel was actually one of the stops so that was nice! we were right across the street from the Redding MArket. AWESOME!!!! I loved that place. It is also the home of the best PHILLY CHEESESTEAK you will ever eat! It was acually where the origional cheesesteak was made. Matt and I bothe love cheesesteaks and you havn't had a real one till you try the one in Philly!We ate them 3 times!

We were able to tour Independance Hall and The Liberty Bell. There is so much History in Philly that you need at least a week to see it all. So we saw the most important ones. The Arcitecture there is amazing. Alot of the buldings are origianal built in the late 1700's. Absolutely Beautiful Everywhere!! We Saw Ben Franklins grave, the Mint wich we didn't get to go inside of because you can't take any cameras in there. I also would have liked to go inside of the art museum(where Rocky ran up the steps) Its the 3rd largest in the country. We just didn't have any time! We did go inside The Ben Franklin Museum of Science. Wich was really cool and I wish my kids were with us. The have all kinds of hands on activities for kids. My sister would love to take her 5th grade class!

We spent alot of time just walking around looking at all the statues and Buildings, and Landscaping. Arizona does not know Landscaping! Everythig grows so good and beautiful! We had such a fun time and next time we go back we are staying longer so we can tour and see the stuff we missed! It was nice being able to be with my hubby alone to. We had such a good time together. He was a great tour guide! That was really nice being with someone who knew where things were so we didn't get lost! I love you babe! I had a really great time with you!

The Trip was a success!! I won't be able to finish some of our remodel work in our house for a while but it was something we both needed and really enjoyed!! I'll post more pictures later. We took a ton!!! Oh and a HUGE THANK YOU to my Parents especially Mom who took care of our kids so we could go!! Thanks mom!!
