4th of July & Update!

I have to say we had a prety fun 4th of July!! I am just now finally posting because I had my knee surgery last wednesday and today is pretty much the first day i havn't been glued to the couch! I was begining to go crazy! I still can't be up for long amounts of time but today was the first day without my crutches!! Horay! I hate those things! I still have to wear my enourmously huge brace so I don't fall over, but I can live with that! The surgery went well and physical therapy is helping out a TON! I go twice a week and after everyday I get a little stronger so I'm hopeing it keeps going this well. I still won't be able to play any sports for about 6-8 months depending on how fast I heal wich is a huge bummer! for those of you who know me, its going to kill me! but better 6 months than not getting my knee fixed and never being able to! so I can't complain! Lucas, Matts younger brother has been living with us for the summer so he has been a huge help for matt and our business. He is great with the kids and helping out and we enjoy him being here. He wants to stay for the school year and graduate in Thatcher, so hopefully he will! So thats the 411 on the pace family for now.

Back to the 4th of July. We entered a float in the parade and I have to say it turned out really good! I was very happy. We put a spa on a trailer filled it with water and the kids sat in it and threw water at people. They had alot of fun! we decorated the rest of the trailer with trees and shrubs. My Parents and sister both have artic cats and we decorated those also. I was very happy with how it all turned out! my whole family was down, so after the parade we swam in our pool for a few hours and had a few water basketbal games, wich got a little rough but really fun. Then we went and watched the fireworks! I have to say that this 4th of July has been my favorite one so far! Hope you all had an enjoyable one also!!
