Happy 51 Dad!

Today is my dads birthday! Sorry dad about posting your age, but for journaling purposes it was nessesary!=)I just wanted to say happy birthday to my AWESOME Dad. I definatly have the best dad ever! He has taught me so much and I am grateful for his example! You will never find another person that works so incredibly hard. He has taught me the value of work by his example. Sometimes we litterally have to tell him to stop but he will go until it is finished, even if he hurts when its over! We keep telling him he's not getting any younger!=) I have always admired what a hard worker he is! I love that we share the love for sports, especially when it comes to softball!!! We have played many games and tournaments together that I will never forget! I love that time I get to spend with him. We kinda have the same temper to when we really get into it! =)I guess you can say we are both alike in that way! My dad is also a huge example of faith to me. I was always gratefull and am still gratefull for the Fathers blessings he gives me. I know that my dad has a testimony and trust and Faith in the Lord, and I'm so gratefull for his example to me. When I was sick a few months ago and with everything that happened to us last year, I knew that he was hurting because I was hurting and he knew that we would be ok. Thats my dad though, always more concerned with his kids than with himself. He is one of the most unselfish people I know. I LOVE YOU DAD so much and am so proud of all you've done and do for your family. You are an awesome dad and a wonderfull grandpa!! my kids love you so much and I know they look up to you like I always have and continue to! You are an amazing person, and I am so gratefull that your my dad! Happy Birthday!!

I didn't know your dad (or mom) that well, but what I did know they seemed like great people! And obviously they are if they raised such awesome kids like you! I love this post, Dad's are the greatest!

PS...I do remember your temper in softball, but don't worry, I think we all had one! I miss playing as much as we did!

I have enjoyed your site, Sarah. Go visit mine sometime. It is a quilting site, but that's OK.
