Well we finally got home from the Hospital today!! YEAH! There is definately "No Place Like Home!" Since monday, all 3 of my kids have been sick. Aubrey had strep, austin had an ear infection and hailey was running a fever an was weezing alot. When she was 2 months she got RSV and Broncialitis(however that is spelt!) and every month or so she has to do albuterol treatments so she can breath. They think she has athsma, or she most likely will when she gets older. Anyhow on wednesday afternoon she was running a temp of 106 and I think my thermometer was wrong, and I think it was worse. So we took her to the ER ,and after a series of test she had her Broncialitis again but much worse! at first they thought she had Namonia(I knowthat is not spelled right because I know it has a PH somewhere in there but you get the picture) They ruled that out because her white blood count was pretty normal so they figured it was Broncialitis, an infection in her lungs. Her oxygen level was really low so they admitted her in the Hospital. If her body doesn't get enough oxygen, everything else starts working really hard and could lead to heart failure. So that terrified me !! It was the longest 4 days ever!!! My poor little baby had to wear an oxygen mask for 3 days and an IV for dehidration. She has so many little bruises on her hands, arms, and feet. They poked her so many times in her arms for her IV and coundn't get one. They finally got one on her hand. It didn't last long because the next morning it had fallen out and they poked her more to find another place! I felt so bad for her, she was screaming the whole time. This time they finally found a good vien in her foot and thats where it stayed. She was so congested and couldn't breath. They had to suction out her nose like 4 times a day and let me tell you, She absolutely hated it!! Now everytime we try to touch her face she gets mad and won't let us! Who knows how long that will last. She also used to love Tylenol and now, not a chance! not after all the nasty antibiotics she had to swallow down! So finally on Saturday she was breathing better, after all the treatments and steroids they had given her, that they took her off oxygen and she did good but they still had to moniter her for another 24 hours. Thank goodness for they Gospel, Prayer, and the Power of the Priesthood. On wednesday when we had taken her to the ER and they told us she had to be admitted, they also told us we would have to go to the Tucson Hospital because they didn't have enough nurses to take her. Talk about double terrified now because we have nobody that can run our business, opening and closing and all that stuff. So either I would have had to go by myself or we would have had to close the store and run the risk of loosing business and customers! and we could not afford to do that! I was Stressed! We called my Dad, my Brother Brian and my Brother in law Sam to help Matt give Hailey a blessing. The room was filled with the spirit and I knew that everything was going to be ok. About a half hour later the nurse told us that we would not have to go to Tucson. She begged for us! I knew our Prayers had been answered, and I was so thankfull! Although tha last 4 days were stressfull, tireing, and very long, The Lord has blessed us in so many different ways. It was truly a humbleing expierince. I love and appreciate my wonderfull Husband and for the Strength and Faith he has in our Hevenly Father, he has been a huge example to me. I love you so much babe! Thank you to my mom for watching Austin & Aubrey the whole time! I love and appreciate you alot MOM! So we are finally home and Hailey could not be more happy!! She had the biggest smile when we walked in the house and she was crawling everywhere!! Sorry this post is a long one but there was so much to say and since this is kinda our family journal, I wanted to get it all in!

Sarah, what an ordeal! Your post brought a little tear to my eye and lump to my throat. I am glad you are home and that things are looking up. Thank heavens for the priesthood and prayer. I'm fairly positive her temp. wasn't over 106* because after that you're talking serious brain damage. But still! So scary. LOVE YOU!! You're such a good mommy.
Happy mother's day.
I'm glad you guys are back and she is doing better. Poor little girl.
Well, I hope you had a great Mother's Day!!
Oh i was in tears the whole time reading this. Its so hard to watch your kids hurting and you can't do anything about it. I'm glad she's feeling better. Its so nice that you have so much family around you to help you out and thank goodness for the priesthood and for doctors.
Sweet Hailey. I am so glad she is doing better and that she got to come home. How blessed you are to have such great family support and of course worthy priesthood holders. You are such a strong mom I think I would have lost it. Love ya girl.
Ooh, I'm so sorry about your baby! I'm glad things are okay now, and hope you don't have anything else like that happen! Sick kids just make me so sad!
Glad everything is better. I hate it when my kids get sick, it's so scary.

That is horrible. I hate when my boys get sick, Tanner had RSV at 2 months and he still has a hard time with his lungs, they say it scars them or something. I hope she gets feeling better soon.
