Soccer Season

Yesterday was the last day of soccer. Its always nice when its over, because we get our saturdays back!! but it was fun! It was Haileys first year, and may be her last :) Her team was the purple unicorns! it was kind of a challenge to keep her on the field. Half the time she wasnt paying attention and she would just run off the field whenever she wantd to get a drink! She was funny to watch. She barely made the cut-off. the cut off date was her b-day. so she was the youngest and shes the smallest! she also had probably the tallest girl in the league on her team, so it was funny to watch her play next to these tall girls!. Hopefully next year she will be a little more exited to play!

Austin moved up a league this year. They actually played positions. Austin played midfield. He did good. He didn't score any goals this year, but he was a really good midfeilder! his team was the shadow nights. Austin is really quick and has some pretty good moves. He has been begging to play football, so this may be his last year playing soccer. He will probably do football next year, and that will be fun to watch :)

Aubrey was soooooo much fun to watch! that girl did so amazingly good! She had a great group of girls on her team and a great coach! Her team was the Orange Crush. she had alot of friends on her team and makenna was also on her team! They ended up undefeated!!!! they were so cute ! they even had a little dance/chear that they did after every game :) she worked super hard and gave 110% all the time. I didn't know she was as good as she played this year! she averaged 4-5 goals a game! there was one game that she scored 7 goals!! She pays attention to whats going on in the game and she has got some crazy good moves. she kicks so well with her left foot, and has so much control of the ball. I was sooo proud of her. She wants to be the best, and she works hard and it pays off. She loves to play sports and I hope she has that same drive when she gets older! Her coach passed out trophies and each girl got an award and aubrey was the MVP! Im so proud of my kids :)

Halloween!!!!!

This year we decided to have a halloween party for the kids. Im glad we did and its probably something we will do every year because they had sooooo much fun!! Austin and Aubrey both got to invite a few friends. We had pizza and rootbeer with dry ice. We Bobbed for apples, which was their favorite thing!!! we had a donut contest, and played monster tag!! it was loud and crazy for 2 hrs, but it was fun. I would have been worried if it wasnt loud! Then we knew they were having fun!!

It was a good time :)

On Halloween night we did our ward trunk or treat! I love that we do this instead of going around house to house. Matt and i passed out candy and our kids went around, trunk to trunk and had a good time!!! after trunk or treating, we went with my mom and dad, and emily and sam to casa and had dinner! It was a fun night! I Love Halloween!!!!



Playgroup Halloween Party

Hailey has a little playgroup that meets once a week. And playgoup was at our house right before Halloween, so we had a little haloween party. The girls looked so cute in all their costumes. we played games and did some haloween crafts. It was fun! I love the little girls that are in her group. There is Abby Welker, Paige Goodman, Grace Howard, and Claire Palmer. we invited Brooky to the party to and I was watching Maddie that day also. It was a good time :)



Aubrey saved my life!

Poor little Hailey! the kids were on the trampoline and looking over the block wall and hailey slipped and fell in between the tramp and the block wall. Well she got stuck, so abrey pushed her head down to get her loose and by doing so, caused a huge scratch! But aubrey came running in saying "mom i saved haileys life! she was stuck and i got her out! "

And hailey even a month later still has a pretty good scar, but she still says "Mom, remember when aubrey saved my life?" what a cute girl she is!

Grandpa Great

My Granpa Ramiro Gallegos passed away on September 27th. It was bitter sweet. He has been ina bed for pretty much the last 6 yrs. kids don't remeber seeing him any other way. He was either in bed or on hi recliner. They don't ever remeber seeing him walk. So he is definatly in a beeter place now. He wa such a fun grandpa! when i was little i remeber him teasing and chasing us all the time!  We had lots of good times.

Evening while hes was sick and in bed and not doing well, he was always concerned for my kids. When Hailey went through all of her medical things, the first thing he said to me everytime i saw him was "How is the baby?" (hailey). he was always worried about her despite all that he was going through. He was an amazing man and grandpa! We will miss him and know that we will see him again.

I am so gratefull for that knowledge that I have of Eternal Families!

His funeral was on October 5th. It was a very nice funeral. there were tears and laughs. Vinings did such a good job putting together a video of picturs and music. Me and my sisters also sang a couple songs as well, that my grandma requested. She is such an amazingly strong woman. She took such good care of grandpa while he couldnt do anything for himself. She is amazing! She always put him first over her own needs, for years she did this! I love her and she is such a good example to me.

Happy Birthday Austin

My Little boy turned 9 this year on September 21st. I cant belive i have a 9 yr old! crazy!!!

He is the sweetest boy and has the hugest heart. We were watching a movie not that long ago and in the movie a teenage boy died in a car crash and austin was just balling! He said it was one of the sadest movies he had ever seen, but he also said, thast it was ok because the family would be with their son again. It made me so proud of the boy he's becoming and the testimony that he already has at such a young age. He loves his sisters, and would do anything for them! He is such a sweetheart! and he is such a good helper!

I felt so bad that he didn't get a birthday party. We had something going on every weekend and just couldnt ever find the time. we did have a family birthday for him, but he didnt get his friend party! And he was so good about it. He told me not to worry, and it was ok that he didnt get a party. He is such a good kid :) Im so very proud of him. Happy Birthday Austin!!

Silly Girls :)

I cant imagine life without these 2 girls!! Aubrey is such a whitty smart loving girl. She is so good at everything she sets her mind on! If she wants something she works super hard at it! I admire her drive and ambition to be the best she can.

And Hailey is our little family clown!! She says the funiest things sometimes that just make us laugh so hard. She always asks us when we are leaving town if we are "leaving our world?" meaning arizona. She always says "mom we are just leaving our town, not our world right?" she cracks me up! I really need to be better at writing down all of the funny things she says!
